Encouraging the improvement of the quality of public education, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo in collaboration with the Technical Executing Unit for Language (UPT Bahasa) of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo held a Scholarship Expo Series 1 talk show.

This event was held at Technical Executing Unit for Language (UPT Bahasa) UNG office building on Monday, December 27th, 2021 at 09.00 AM to 12.00 PM Indonesia Central Standard Time, and was attended by 116 participants consisting of the UNG academic community and the general community both in Gorontalo and outside Gorontalo.

This first edition of the talk show entitled "Turn Your Plans into Actions". This event was officially opened by the Vice-Rector III of UNG, Prof. Karmila Machmud, M.A., Ph.D., and moderated by the Director of UPT Bahasa UNG, Titien F. Mohammad, S.Pd., M.App.Ling. The two main speakers were Tryanti R. Abdulrahman, M.A., a recipient of a Fullbright scholarship for a doctoral program at Ohio State University in the United States, and Zulkifli Tanipu, M.A., a recipient of an LPDP scholarship for a doctoral program at the University of Sheffield, England.

This event is a contribution of UNG and Technical Executing Unit for Language (UPT Bahasa UNG) in supporting the resolution to improve the quality of public education. Therefore, this talk show is expected to be able to contribute significantly in increasing the information of the UNG academic community and the general community regarding the various types of scholarships offered and the procedures to follow to achieve them. In addition, it is also expected to encourage the enthusiasm and confidence of the participants to continue learning and realize their dreams of continuing their studies without being constrained by economic conditions or disabilities.
