In commemoration of the Bulan Bahasa dan Sastra Nasional which coincides with the celebration of Sumpah Pemuda, the Technical Executing Unit for Language (UPT Bahasa) of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo in collaboration with the Language Office (Kantor Bahasa) of Gorontalo Province conducted another Indonesian Language Proficiency Test (UKBI). It took place on the second floor of the Technical Executing Unit for Information and Communication Technology (UPT TIK) of UNG on Saturday, October 30th, 2021 at 10.00AM – 13.00PM Indonesia Central Standard Time, and was attended by 29 participants consisting of lecturers and students from eleven faculties at the State University of Gorontalo.

Unlike the previous year, which only consisted of three sections, this year's UKBI, which transmits to Adaptif Merdeka, applies a complete package consisting of five sections, i.e., Listening, Responding to Rules, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

This annual event is a Technical Executing Unit for Language (UPT Bahasa) of UNG participation in supporting one of the Four Pillars of the Decree of Rector of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, the Quality Assurance (QA). The implementation of this pillar aims to improve and control the quality of educational inputs, processes, and outputs by developing an academic atmosphere and culture within Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.

This time UKBI is expected to contribute to the preservation and development of culture and the development of knowledge and language skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) of students and lecturers of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.
